By signing up for a user account with the Echo mobile app ("App"), you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions. The material provided through the App on on the Echo website ("Site") is protected by law, including, but not limited to, United States copyright law and international treaties.
The purpose of the App is to enable a User to keep track of and be reminded of prayers. The user enters these prayers, and is responsible for their content.
In order to use the service, a user must sign up for an account, either through the App or on the Site.
Use of the service and/or the App or Site also falls under the terms of our privacy policy.
The Echo app/service can be used individually, or with others in the context of an online community. We take this community very seriously, and reserve the right to protect legitimate users from illegimate users or purposes contrary to the intentions of the app. As an example, we reserve the right in our sole discretion to block users or cancel their accounts if they post spam or abuse other users. The Echo app and service are intended to only be used for the purposes of sharing prayer requests and helping individuals and groups pray. Using the app for any other purposes may result in the discontinuation of your Echo account, with or without notice.
Many of Echo's features are free for all users. However, to unlock full access to all features, a user must have an active paid subscription to Echo Plus+, which is an in-app purchase subscription, billed through Apple's or Google's in-app payment system. By purchasing a subscription for Echo Plus+, you agree to Apple's or Google's terms for those in-app purchases and their payment systems. We will do our best to handle any possible billing issues that arise, but our ability to process refunds or offer any other support for in-app purchase subscriptions is limited by Apple's and Google's systems. We reserve the right to cancel - with or without a refund - any user's account for a breach of the community guidelines, and it will be the responsibility of the user to then also cancel their in-app purchase subscription.
When an in-app subscription expires, a user will lose their ability to access any features of the app that require an Echo Plus+ Membership. We also reserve the right to remove content created by a user who does not use their Membership in good faith (for example: signing up for a membership with the intention of canceling it during the trial period, as a way of circumventing payment).
For subscriptions purchased in iOS:
Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at the confirmation of purchase. The subscription automatically renews unless it is canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. You can manage and cancel your subscriptions by going to your App Store account settings after purchase.
We may revise this Agreement at any time without notice by updating this posting. By using this App you agree to be bound by any such revisions and should therefore periodically visit this Site and page to determine the then current terms and conditions of use to which you are bound.
By using the App, you signify your acceptance of these terms of service and privacy policy. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not sign up for a user account. Your continued use of the App following the posting of changes to these terms will be deemed your acceptance of those changes.
